Why is nike posting more jobs now than it did in december
nike is at like 37 bucks and most people here have written it off, but the hiring data is not acting like a company thats giving up. open job postings are around 1,000 a day right now. up roughly 15% since december and the highest ive seen since spring 2025. over that same stretch the stock went from about 62 to about 38. i get postings off altindex, apewisdom and chartexchange cover the social side. reddit mentions on NKE also went vertical, from around 13 a day in mid july to a peak near 260 a day two weeks ago. a lot of that is obviously the s&p 100 removal chatter. i did not use the year over year postings number because there is a gap in summer 2025 where the series falls to a fifth of normal and then snaps straight back. that looks like collection breaking, not nike freezing hiring, so i left it out. so which is it, are they spending into a turnaround or just backfilling the same roles because people keep walking? submitted by /u/CoolioBeansTTV [link] [comme
