Hot Take: The Fed Hiking Rates is Bullish
I think if the Fed were actually going to reduce the money supply, then it would be prudent to reduce leverage and be cautious. But since Warsh, Powell, and pretty much everyone working for the Fed since 2008 has made it clear that they don't ever want to reduce the money supply, just maybe possibly someday eventually slow its rate of growth, then I think "not fighting the Fed" has come to mean back up the truck everyday always. Until then, every rate hike is already priced in. Goldman sachs is already pricing in 3 rate hikes into June 2027. These little blimps of a dip during the day confirms it. We shoot straight back up the next day. The market needed to see rate hikes to move forward. Tonight we will see BOJ hike rates as well. We will be so green in the morning. Tldr: bears are going to get wiped. Huge move day tomorrow. 7700c submitted by /u/RichAdults [link] [comments]
